PADDY PARTY & PUB TOUR

DTSB is excited to announce the Downtown South Bend Paddy Party & Pub Tour - the region’s largest St. Patrick’s celebration – will return to Four Winds Field with headlining act The 1985. DTSB's partnership with the South Bend Cubs for this event creates renewed experience upgrades from its former location, including upgraded concessions, more space, improved VIPS areas, online ticket sales, and indoor restrooms. The Paddy Party & Pub Tour is presented by United Beverage.
The entertainment for this year’s Paddy Party will include Jerry O'Fonics Band, Smash Kings, and The 1985, plus Sound FX DJs and a bagpiper.
Tickets to the Paddy Party also include admission to the DTSB Pub Tour – with free shuttle service provided by Transpo 5:30 to midnight, and waived cover to 19 downtown pubs – an excellent opportunity to enjoy the rich tapestry of DTSB’s nightlife.

General admission ticket includes admission into the Paddy Party, Pub Tour and shuttles. Food and drinks are not complimentary. Must be 21+ years old to enter the Paddy Party or participate in the Pub Tour.

VIP EXPERIENCE

The Paddy Party VIP experience includes several event upgrades this year, including:

Access to premium event spaces such as a heated VIP tent, special front-row access in the main tent, indoor suites, and a DJ experience

A complimentary buffet from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. featuring pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, brisket, and freshly-made kettle chips

Opportunities to view NCAA March Madness tournament

This exclusive pass will only be available for purchase to the first 300 guests. VIP areas will have tables, seating, and a little more elbow room in a swanky setting.

VIP tickets include admission into the VIP areas, including the VIP Tent, front row access in the main tent, Pepsi Stadium Club, Home Plate Suite, the visitor's locker room DJ Experience, and several additional private suites, plus the main Paddy Party, Pub Tour and shuttles. Drinks are not complimentary, but a free buffet is included. Must be 21+ years old to enter the Paddy Party or participate in the Pub Tour.

Tickets purchased online can be picked up at the Four Winds Field Box Office March 9th - 12th from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Friday, March 13th from 10:00 a.m. through the event. Online ticket sales will close at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 13th. Tickets can also be purchased at the box office March 9th -12th with no service fee. Ticket prices for both General Admission and VIP will increase by $5 after 4:00 p.m. Friday.

EVENT LAYOUT
​
Paddy Party 2020 will include the addition of two heated tents - one featuring live music and a space to show off your dance moves, and one exclusively for VIP ticket-holders. The entertainment tent will be located at the end of the third base concourse, and the VIP tent will be right beside it. Additional event space - including restrooms, a photo booth, concessions, and bars - can be found in the third base concourse.

Please note - due to this event's proximity to South Bend Cubs' opening day, tents can not be placed on the field because of the threat of turf damage.
​

Smash Kings

Jerry O'Fonics Band

Jerry O'Fonics Band is a hard-working, high-energy, hyphen-loving, five-piece cover band!
The 1985
9:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
​
A five-member retro band from South Bend, the 1985 play the best of rock, pop, new wave, and metal from the 1980s! Lights, music, and costume create a totally immersive 80's experience.
*A special downtown employee appreciation hour will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

CONTESTS
​
Paddy Party 2020 will include three contests with exciting prizes!
​
Irish Jig Contest - 7:00 p.m.
Contestants will be selected from the crowd to come up on stage and compete in an Irish Jig Contest, for the chance to win season tickets to the South Bend Lions.
​
Paddy Flair Contest - 9:00 p.m.
Party-goers wearing the most amount of Irish/St. Patrick's attire will be selected to come on stage for the chance to win a pair of tickets to see Billy Joel at Notre Dame Stadium on June 20th.
​
Sham-Rock Contest - 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Event MC Big Perm from U93 will be on the lookout for guests having the most amped-up experience at the event, and will be handing out on-the-spot $50 cash prizes. Go crazy and get "Sham-Rocked" at Paddy Party this year!

Free parking will be available in the DTSB-managed parking garages (Main Street Garage, Leighton Garage, and Wayne Street Garage) starting at 4:00 p.m. (Click here for a map.) Paid parking will be available in the Four Winds field event parking area for $5.
