Downtown South Bend, Inc. can help you experience all the great benefits of visiting or living, working or shopping, or just enjoying yourself in the heart of South Bend.

Incorporated in January 2002, Downtown South Bend, Inc. (DTSB) is a not-for-profit 501C(6) organization dedicated to the continued growth and prosperity of Downtown South Bend in partnership with the City of South Bend. DTSB continually works to improve our community’s quality of life through creative marketing and promotion, coordinated public/private initiatives, effective economic development and business recruitment.

DTSB is governed by a 20 member board which includes downtown business owners and residents, local business leaders, the University of Notre Dame and City officials. Officers of the board include Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

Our offices are located at 217 S. Michigan Street, in the heart of downtown South Bend. We are in the Robertson’s Building across from the historic State Theater and share our office space with the University of Notre Dame Office of Community Relations.

DTSB helps coordinate, support, and advocate for the downtown South Bend community in a number of ways – promoting the growth of existing businesses, recruiting new businesses, and encouraging residential living. Activities include:
