Art Beat 2018 Community Art Projects

Event Date:
Saturday, August 18, 2018 - 12:00 to 18:00

An Interactive Mural and Pop-Up Art Made from Painted Metal Pieces

Each year, Art Beat invites members of the community to get in touch with their artistic side for the day, by way of the Community Art Project. This year we will have two Community Art Projects. One will be an interactive mural designed by local artist Rebecca Daublin, and the other will feature painted metal pieces that will be arranged artistically and placed throughout downtown as pop-up art pieces.

Come lend a hand and bring out your inner artist Art Beat. Instruction will be provided, and no artistic experience or skill is necessary!  The Community Art Project will be taking place in the Leighton Parking Garage, near the entrance to the HealthWorks! Kids Museum, just across from Studebaker Plaza, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
