KID BEAT!

Kid Beat is an exciting event for kids of all ages happening on August 19th, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the end of E Jefferson Blvd. bridge.

There will be plenty of activities and learning opportunities throughout the day! Kids can explore their creative side at the painting station, collaborate with others in a unique chalk art project or learn traditional pottery techniques during the ceramic demonstration. This demonstration will happen from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. The museum will also be open to explore!

There will also be opportunities to learn with our various booths. Like SBMA's Awareness Booth where you can learn the history of the Museum and how membership impacts our city's collective community. Their Education Booth is where you can see the variety of SBMA Classes they have to offer, receiving guidance on what would be the best class for you! Local Educators can also gain insight into our STEAM Program: integrating arts into any subject's curriculum.

With so many fun and educational activities, Kid Beat is sure to be an unforgettable experience for everyone!
