2018 Egg Stravaganza set for Saturday, March 24th

EggStravaganza is a celebration of the arrival of spring. Join us throughout downtown as businesses host activities, crafts, and specials. Don’t forget to plan a visit with the bunny.
All activities are listed in order of start time:

Coloring Activity

Coloring Contest

Participate in the coloring contest for your chance to win a goodie basket filled with gift certificates, candy, and Yellow Cat Cafe goodies!

Bunny Breakfast

Have breakfast with the Easter Bunny! $4 for 2-6 year olds, $8 for 7-12 year olds, and $12 for 12+

Egg-cellent Egg Stravaganza!

Come make a craft from 10-12 and join the scavenger hunt from 10-3!

Arts & Crafts Coloring

Visit with lambs, baby goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits at this Easter-themed petting zoo, brought to you by the Heart of the Farm educational exhibit, St Joseph County Ag Team, and St Joseph County 4-H.

Fairies will charm you as they show you to your table in the Oliver Mansion’s Carriage House, bright with festive decorations. Also offered are  a menu of savories, sweets, and classic teas, and is followed by private tours of special areas of the 38-room Oliver Mansion. An egg hunt in Kidsfirst is also part of the fun! Tickets are $25/general; $20/youth 4-17; and $20/members. Reservations are required and can be made online at historymuseumSB.org

Egg-spress Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides

12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.| Dream Coach Carriages | First Stop: Chocolate Café
Hop around town on the “EGG-Spress Wagon” pulled by the biggest bunnies in South Bend! Rides are $4 per person, excluding infants. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets will be sold just before 12:00 p.m. at the “EGG-Spress” bunny stop in front of the Chocolate Café. Don’t forget your camera! Dream Coach Carriages will also have a Peeps photo booth by their bunny stop in front of the Chocolate Cafe.

 

Egg-cellent Yoga

12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. | Therapeutic Indulgence | Gridiron
Treaneva Crammer from Therapeutic Indulgence will be instructing a 30-45 minute yoga program for kids on the Gridiron.

Decorate & Plant Spring Flower Pots

12:00 p.m. – 4: 00 p.m. | South Bend Museum of Art | 120 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
All ages welcome to making a craft that explores the sights and hues of Spring. Inside the Century Center.

Visit the Easter Bunny

12:00 p.m. – 5: 00 p.m. | South Bend Chocolate Cafe | 122 S. Michigan St.
Visit the Easter Bunny at the Chocolate Cafe. Pictures not provided. You are welcome to take your own, so don’t forget your camera! The Easter Bunny will also be at the South Bend Chocolate Cafe on March 23rd 5-9pm, March 25th 12-5pm, March 30th 5-9pm, and March 31st 12-5pm.
