As part of DTSB’s business recruitment program, we have initiated a ribbon cutting program to help local merchants announce their grand openings to the public.

We provide these services to interested businesses that have opened a new retail store, restaurant, or consumer based enterprise within the past six months at no charge.

We Promote the Event

  • Create press releases for the media, arrange for interviews with the local newspaper, radio and television stations
  • Create a press packet for the day of the event
  • Include merchant information on the DTSB website

We Plan the Entire Event

  • Contact political dignitaries, representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and other key community and business leaders
  • Set up prior to the event- laying out a red carpet, stanchions and ribbon
  • Coordinate the entire ceremony
