Super Adoption Event
June 12, 2012 — On Saturday, June 16th, animal rescue groups PetsConnect! and Pet Refuge will host the first-annual Super Adoption Event from 11am to 3pm at the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown South Bend, the largest collaborative adoption event ever held in Michiana. The event is sponsored by PetSmart Charities and PetCo and hosted in conjunction with Downtown South Bend.
The event will feature adoptable cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies from several area rescue groups, and organizers of the large, collaborative adoption event are hoping to find homes for over 100 Michiana animals.
Along with meeting the animals, visitors will enjoy family-friendly activities on the Gridiron of the Football Hall of Fame, a fun-agility dog course, giveaways from Sunny 101.5, special cat adoption fees, and educational information about animal care and rescue.
