2012 marks the first year of partnership between the Red Table Plaza Lunchtime Concert Series and the Morris Performing Arts Center’s Fridays by the Fountain. On each Fridays by the Fountain date—June 15 & 29, July 13 & 27, and August 10, 24 & 31—the signature tables and chairs of Red Table Plaza will move to Jon Hunt Plaza for one big downtown concert.
Developed in 2004 to help promote and support local musicians, singers, songwriters and small musical groups, the Red Table Plaza Lunchtime Concert Series also provides a delightful ambiance for the downtown workforce, residents and visitors. Café tables and chairs are located in an intimate urban environment where guests can bring or purchase their lunch from a surrounding downtown restaurant, relax in the shade and enjoy the live entertainment at Red Table Plaza. The concert series is presented by Downtown South Bend, Inc. (DTSB) with generous support from Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, Wells Fargo, Robert B. Miller Financial and Hoosier Dads Music.
