Dreams Take Form as Pitch Your Plan, Round Two Gets Underway
May 10, 2012 — Downtown South Bend, Inc. (DTSB) – in collaboration with Banko Capital, the North Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (NCISBDC), Ugly Dog Media, Inc., WNIT, WVPE and Historic Preservation of South Bend & St. Joseph County – is pleased to announce the finalists in the “Pitch Your Plan” contest for the redevelopment of the State Theater. It wasn’t easy, but after reviewing nearly 90 submissions from contestants aged six to 60, a panel moderated by DTSB, Inc. and Banko Capital have narrowed the competition down to 11 finalists. Round two of the competition will give finalists an opportunity to see if their idea sinks or swims with the help of the NCISBDC and their own hard work, determination, and ingenuity. Join us for a brief press conference this Friday, May 11 at 10 A.M. in front of the State Theater to find out who the finalists are and what’s in store for round two.
