Santa on the Race

For All The Children Of Our Community

Santa arrives down the East Race with candy for all! For years Santa on the Race has provided meals, gifts and an evening with Santa for hundreds of our community's children who may go without. Come join us for Ice Sculpting, Kids Christmas Crafts, hot chocolate and cookies, Petting Zoo, Christmas Choir, Nativity Scene and Live Christmas Concert!

Reindog Parade


Dress your pooch in Holiday finery! Enjoy Pup Tent refreshments from local, downtown businesses, photos with Santa Claus, and connect with local canine enthusiasts and local businesses at the Doggie Expo. The Reindog Parade will be in downtown South Bend at 11 a.m. on Sat. Dec 6 beginning at Michigan and Wayne. Click here to register and for more information. 

St. Nix Six


The 2014 Saint Nick Six, presented by Gurley Leep, will take place Saturday, December 6. This year's event includes a new 3K Run in addition to the 6K Run, 3K Walk, and the "Run, Run Rudolph .06K Run" for kids 1st grade and younger. The Saint Nick Six is a great community event kicking off the season of Advent and celebrating a saint while promoting fitness and an active lifestyle. Not a runner? Come participate in the 3K Walk or just come join the festivities and support others in the race! Volunteers are also needed! Visit site for registration and details.

Free Holiday Historic Walking Tour!  You are welcome to drive or walk the route.  Dream Coach Carriages will be available during the tour.  To reserve a time slot please call 574-654-3636.

 

Breakfast With Santa

A plated breakfast will be served, then visit Santa and enjoy facepainting, balloon art and Irish Christmas traditions. Remember to bring your camera to get a photo of your child with Santa! Hosted by Fiddler's Hearth on Sat. Dec 6 at 8am. $7 per person. Visit site for registration and details.

Christmas Tea

This will be our 3rd annual Christmas Tea at The Oliver Inn. It will be on Saturday December 6th 11:30-1
Reservations are necessary since seating is limited. Please call the Inn for reservations 574-232-4545 or you can book online. Click HERE to book. The cost is $25.00 for adults- $20.00 for 12 and under.

Holiday Brunch


Celebrate a Tippecanoe Place Tradition with added Yuletide trimmings and a visit from Santa Claus! Our Sunday Brunches with Santa will continue up until Christmas from 10:00 a.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. Also, be sure to visit our annual 8ft Gingerbread House located in the ballroom. Prepared by our kitchen staff, it is decorated with candies, royal icing and it weighs over 800 pounds!
